Global perspectives, exceptional results
Variety is always a good idea
Spending a day in our zooom headquarters in Fuschl am See sometimes doesn’t feel like you are in Austria at all. You stumble across a conversation in Spanish while getting your morning coffee or walk into the design office and overhear a meeting in Hungarian. With team members from 15 different nationalities, this is just a normal day in the office for us, and we love to have a diverse group of people working here (and that they share their regional sweets too!).
It's a mix of different ideas
The way we work at zooom and the ideas we come up with for our clients from around the globe is also because of our international colleagues. This diversity enables us to adapt quickly to change, stay one step ahead and deliver outstanding results.
“The best thing about an international team is that everyone brings their own ideas from their individual backgrounds. It’s always a mix of different ideas which come together to make any project successful”, explains Danish, senior full stack developer, who is originally from Pakistan and has been working at zooom for over six years.

International projects
Zooom is well known in the area in and around Salzburg since we have been working with renowned clients for over 25 years at this point. We mainly work with companies from the lifestyle, tourism and sports industry such as Panasonic, Mayrhofner Bergbahnen and Schöffel but we’ve also run successful campaigns for clients from the food and beverage sector like Julius Meinl and Organics by Red Bull.
The Job itself wasn't the main reason why I moved to Austria, but after relocating, I reoriented myself. That's when zooom started to appear everywhere as one of the most interesting companies in this region”, says Ruth, HR recruiting manager, who has moved to Austria from Barcelona, Spain.

Surrounded by nature
People from more than a dozen different nationalities are working at the zooom office in Fuschl every day. Originally, they come from countries like Greece, Ecuador, Australia or Portugal – just to name a few. What they like most about Austria, the beautiful lakes, amazing mountains and incredible nature, all comes together in Fuschl.
A quick dip in Fuschlsee during lunchbreak or an after-work hike are not unusual activities for zooomies. “The nature around here is definitely something I would miss the most if I’d go back to Slovenia”, says Jelka who is Slovenian and works as an art director.

An open-minded team
“If you leave your country and move somewhere else to start fresh, I think it means you are more open“, states Jelka. It’s this kind of attitude that makes working at zooom not only more fun but also more inspiring. “It’s like a melting pot of different opinions and ways of doing things. I feel like I learned quite a lot of new things from working with different people, and their perspectives. Everyone brings something new to the table, which is really nice”, says British expat Tessa, senior graphic designer.
