Zooom magazine wins prestigious award
25 year anniversary edition wins Golden Pixel Award
It’s official! Zooom has won another award - The Golden Pixel Gold Award in the magazine category for the Issue 6 of the zooom magazine. The award ceremony took place on October 4 with 200 guests including media and print industry insiders. The Golden Pixel Award is an award by the Austrian printing and media industry for progressive and innovative printing projects.
Industry recognition
It is always great to be recognized for your work, it is particularly sweet when you are awarded by your peers in the industry. The award recognized our international pedigree with the cover heavily influenced by Japan, where we recently opened an office. Although the magazine was partially inspired by Japan with a full Japanese translation, it was actualized and printed right here in Austria. The specially embossed cover and the oversized format were highlighted by the awards as particular stand outs. Sustainability was also a key factor, with vegetable inks and a ‘cradle to cradle’ certified production. Meaning that whole magazine was CO2 neutral.
