Austria's finest Winter Athletes
The Mission
In the wake of the Red Bull winter athletes photo shoot, top-class athletes such as World Cup alpine skier Marcel Hirscher and record-breaking ski jumper Gregor Schlierenzauer teamed up with our photographer Markus Berger for an extraordinary project.
The concept behind it was to create a unique set of action shots and portraits with a continuous theme that revealed the athletes as individuals but also as part of a team. Each athlete was shot 'in action'. The shoot also included a light-hearted and experimental aspect to showcase the athlete's character and personality.
