oxo illuminates their icons
A timeless vision from zooom
OXO is a household name. All over the world, chefs and cooking enthusiasts have used their products to make beautiful and delicious food. They approached us to help them present four of their most loved and recommended products that revolutionize the way cooks prepare and store food: the Swivel Peeler, the Salad Spinner, the Angled Measuring Cup and the Pop Containers. We were briefed to create a 360-degree brand campaign, presenting the products individually and together with assets for use across all channels – offline and online.
We put OXO’s icons on a pedestal
For the brand-campaign we went deep into OXO’s brand equity and identity. The four products had long been known as “icons” within the company, so we thought, why not present this to the customer? From this ‘Icons are forever’ was born. We took the four products and presented them on a pedestal, with a black backdrop putting their unique functionality and timeless universal design into the spotlight. We shot videos and photos of the products alone on their pedestals and together as a collection.
An international roll-out
We delivered the assets, and they enthusiastically kicked off their campaign at the Ambiente trade show in Frankfurt – showcasing our vision to vendors and partners. The next step is the roll out the campaign to the customers, illuminating the four iconic products first in the UK, Germany and France, then to other European markets. The brand-campaign will run for the whole year in selected touch points for OXO, online, offline and in-store. We were impressed by the simplicity and timelessness of the products and are sure they will continue to retain their iconic status.
