Red Bull X-Alps 2025: These are the athletes

Successful Athletes Announcement

After announcing the Red Bull X-Alps event calendar in summer we are excited that we can now share the athletes who will take part in the 2025 edition of the world’s toughest adventure race. Since zooom is organizing and managing every little detail of this extraordinary hike and fly race, we were also leading the Athletes Announcement.

Global Red Bull athletes

Thanks to our international network we were able to involve global Red Bull athletes like Dario Costa, history-making pilot, and French speed riding athlete Valentin Delluc as well as freeride skier Nadine Wallner. Together with industry leading people they announced the race’s line-up.

The aim of the show was to reach a wider audience beyond the core one. We were able to equally focus on the Red Bull X-Alps core markets – Austria, France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland – as well as the international market.

One of the strongest line-ups

Our CEO Ulrich Grill, who is also the co-founder of Red Bull X-Alps, says, “This is one of the strongest line-ups of athletes in the history of Red Bull X-Alps. The density of top athletes is higher than ever before. Each one of them had to go through a strict selection process to be accepted, making sure they’re able and ready to take on the world’s toughest adventure race. Red Bull X-Alps 2025 is going to be the most exciting edition yet!”

Four new destination partners

After a successful cooperation with Turnpoint partners in previous editions we are thrilled that they prolonged their partnership with Red Bull X-Alps. Even more exciting, four new destination partners, Merano 2000 and Schenna in Italy, St. Moritz in Switzerland and Les 2 Alpes in France, decided to join the world’s toughest adventure race. All these Turnpoints are shaping up a brand-new route, which will be a well-kept secret until March 19, when it’s officially announced.

The Athletes and the Route Announcement are the main milestones before the actual race, which starts on June 15 in Kitzbühel - Kirchberg, Austria.
